Anyone who has used the Galaxy A52s 5G will probably agree that the phone is one of the best alternatives in terms of price and performance. In addition to all the features that make the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A52 5G good, the Galaxy A52s was one of Samsung’s fastest mid-range phones last year, thanks to the Snapdragon 778G chip inside.

For many Galaxy A52s owners, this seems to be changing lately. Judging by the complaints on the Samsung forums, the Android 12 and One UI 4.0 update for the A52s 5G is fraught with various issues. Performance degradation seems to be the most important issue faced by device owners after installing the update. Many users complain that the interface animations are slow.

It was also reported that battery consumption increased for many users, even with the display’s high refresh rate disabled. There are also minor bugs such as the proximity sensor not working and as a result the screen stays on during calls. A small number of users report poor speaker quality.

Android 12 and One UI 4.0 update was released for Galaxy A52s 5G in early January.
