Antique wallet contains $2.18 million worth of BTC
Blockchain tracker Whale Alert shared an update that a crypto wallet containing 50 Bitcoins became active after almost 12.5 years. According to Blockchain.com, the block was mined on November 23, 2009, just 10 months after the first Bitcoin was released. However, while BTC first crossed the $1 level in February 2011, 1 Bitcoin is trading at around $43,000 today. On the other hand, the owner of this wallet, whose identity is unknown, has become a millionaire today. This very old wallet contains 50 BTC tokens worth $2.18 million.

WhaleStats, whose data we follow closely as Kriptokoin.com, reported that multiple BTC transactions were transferred from unknown wallets to different crypto exchange platforms in the last 24 hours. These transactions took place while the BTC price dropped 3 percent in the last 24 hours. According to the data obtained, 5678 Bitcoins worth $248.84 million were transferred to Coinbase from 5 different unknown wallets.
4,100 BTC was moved from popular crypto exchange Gemini to Coinbase. Another 4 wallets in Xapo, another cryptocurrency exchange, shifted $157.7 million worth of Bitcoin to Binance. Bitcoin is currently trading at a price of $ 43,452. The leading cryptocurrency saw a 5% increase in 24-hour trading volume of $36,769,720,188. In addition, BTC still leads the cryptocurrency market with a market cap of over $827 billion.
