Lightning input, which is the most disliked feature of iPhones, has started to be hated especially with the increasing popularity of USB-C. Although Apple brought USB-C input to iPads, it persistently did not produce an iPhone that supports USB-C. In recent months, engineer and YouTuber Ken Pillonel, who decided to solve this problem, developed a USB-C port for iPhone X that supports charging and data. Ken, who later sold this device for $86,000 at auction, has now completed a new project.

Successful engineer Ken Pillonel decided to add Lightning port to an Android phone after the iPhone project. Ken also stated that any sane person would not try this project and the only reason he did it was for fun. In an interview with Engadget, he stated that the project was seriously complex and he had to think outside the box. In addition, Ken stated that Lightning cables only work with Apple devices, so he has to trick the cable as if it is connected to an iPhone. Ken will soon upload a YouTube video explaining the whole process.
