One of the popular DeFi projects, Kava’s April 1 joke was met with reaction in the crypto community.
Kava shared a tweet yesterday on their official Twitter account saying they have partnered with Tesla. On top of the tweet, KAVA had a splash, raising it to about $5. Then, quoting the tweet and saying it was an “April 1st joke”, the team created a great reaction in the crypto community. After the backlash, the tweets in question were deleted.

After the joke was announced, the reaction to the project grew like an avalanche. Many commentators, while emphasizing the inappropriateness of the joke; some drew attention to ulterior motives.
