You can now show another post in your own account by quoting on Twitter and share your own post on it. Usually, companies or business people use this method when they want to announce their partnership on their Twitter accounts and tag each other.
Twitter is testing a feature that goes a little further than that. In the tested feature, users will be able to send a single tweet ‘jointly’ from two different accounts and this post will be shown as shared by two people. This will most benefit companies that have partnership agreements, content producers who receive advertisements, or people who want to make joint announcements.
You will be able to send the same tweet from two separate accounts
For now, this feature will only be available for two accounts, the same tweet cannot be shared from more accounts. According to the resulting images, only unlocked accounts that follow you will be able to use this feature. When you want to share a post with two people, the other party will also need to approve.
When two people share the same post, it will be visible to followers of both accounts, and the profile photos and usernames of both accounts will be displayed at the top of the post. In fact, a feature almost exactly the same has come to Instagram in the past months; similarly, users began to be able to share a single post with ‘two different owners’.
Of course, this brings to mind what if they use it for spam. For now, Twitter is testing this feature, so we can say that solutions for such problems are also being considered. There is no information about when the feature will be released yet. What do you think about this feature? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
