E3 2022 has been completely canceled
The cancellation news was first announced as the PR leader at technology giant Razer. Shared by Will Powers. In the post on Twitter, it was reported that E3 2022 was canceled with an incoming e-mail.
After that, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) confirmed the cancellation of E3 2022 in an official statement: “In our previous statements, we announced that E3 2022 would not take place physically due to the risks posed by COVID. Today, we would like to explain that the event will not take place digitally.”
ESA further explained, “Instead, next summer, we will dedicate all our energies and resources to a revitalized physical and digital E3. The fair in 2023 will bring all media and industry together to offer interactive experiences in the new format. We look forward to bringing E3 live from Los Angeles in 2023 to fans around the world,” he added, adding that the show will return for the better in 2023.
