Twitter has recently implemented many features such as message search, chat pinning, podcasts and more in the DM section. Some of them are completely free, while others are made available under Twitter Blue, which requires a monthly subscription.

Reverse engineering expert Alessandro Paluzzi, known for his leaks about social media applications, said that a “collaborative tweet” feature will soon be coming to the Twitter platform. Thanks to this feature, which has been under development since December, two different users will be able to write a single tweet at the same time.

Twitter will facilitate collaboration with its shared tweet feature

As can be seen in the shared screenshot, in order to write a joint tweet with a person, their account must be public and they must be following you. Any account that does not meet either of these two requirements will unfortunately not be able to benefit from the shared tweet feature.

When you send a request to a user to tweet together, the other person accepts the feature will be activated. The tweet you write will appear on both your and his Twitter profile, and will land on the timeline of followers of both accounts. In addition, the usernames of the authors will be publicly available in the tweet.

also on Instagram

Twitter isn’t the only platform that brings the Collabs feature. It has been available on Instagram since October last year. While browsing the main page, you may have seen two different user accounts, “shiftdelenet and yesilrobotnet”, in a photo or video.

Twitter’s shared tweet function will work like this. Alessandro Paluzzi stated that this feature will be available soon. However, he did not share any concrete historical information.
