There are definitely people around you that you describe as “boring”. These types of people who are usually energy suckers and therefore depressed may not actually be that “boring” or you are indeed right to register them as “boring”. Fortunately, researchers pondering this dilemma have come to a common conclusion.
According to the results of the survey conducted with more than 500 people, the type of person considered “the most boring” is now clear. The authors of the study, sharing the results of the research in the journal Personality and Social Psychology, say that the most boring types in the world are people who “like to watch TV and prefer to live alone in a town.” If you see the people you label as “boring” in this sentence, you may be right in your case. On the other hand, if you have a high habit of watching television, it may be good to lower it.
It is also said that this type of people prefer to stay away from sociality, but it is still stated that this cannot be shown as a reason in itself. Ironically, it is meaningless to associate being “boring” with a person’s lack of interest in any hobby.
On the other hand, it was concluded in the survey that those who work in fields such as accounting or banking, which are considered the most boring jobs, cannot be described as boring either. In fact, it was also shared in the report that these people are highly talented and considered as individuals with power in the society.
