Legendary football star David Beckham will release a series of NFT and blockchain-based digital assets on DigitalBits.
European football icon David Beckham has been named the global brand ambassador of DigitalBits Blockchain, an open-source blockchain where any asset can be tokenized, including sports clubs and other brands. According to a statement, the relationship with Beckham will help DigitalBits’ blockchain use spread to consumers and various global organizations. Additionally, Beckham will launch a series of NFTs and other blockchain-based digital assets to be minted on the DigitalBits blockchain.
Beckham has more than 138 million digital followers worldwide, according to DigitalBits. By this time, crypto companies, especially exchanges, have signed deals with a number of major professional athletes, including spokespersons and ambassadors, to raise awareness of their services.
