Twitter is trying to optimize the Communities feature before it’s fully rolled out. One of these works was to add a search bar to the feature. Thanks to the search bar, it will be possible to join groups of interest and tweet only about that topic. However, joining groups will only be by invitation or request-approval from members. Additionally, each member will be able to send invitations to join only five people.
The Communities feature, which was the first to stand out, was much discussed. Because, some users argued that classical sharing of ideas will reach more people than sharing ideas with only one group. Twitter Vice President Jay Sullivan said:
“One of the things I hear from people is, ‘Hey, I’ve been reading a lot. I’m not comfortable tweeting or don’t know when or why I should tweet. I would feel better if I was tweeting to a smaller community of people.”
