With the launch of Mac Studio, which was introduced recently and created a bombshell effect in the computer world with its M1 Ultra processor, review videos and various tests started to appear. From the outside, the Mac Studio does not have any screws. Apple, which does not allow any upgrades on almost all of the computers it has released in the last few years (except the Mac Pro), follows a similar strategy, albeit partially.
Mac Studio has more slots to add SSD!
When you gently remove the rubber ring at the bottom of the device, four screws that allow access to the inside of the device appear. When you remove the screws, the part that covers the bottom of the device and helps to ventilate comes out.
With the release of this video, it has been revealed that Mac Studio may feature upgradeable SSD storage. Similar to the Mac Pro, Mac Studio has two relatively accessible SSD ports. The storage upgrade issue has not been clarified as it is currently unknown whether Apple will sell SSD Upgrade Kits similar to the Mac Pro.
On the information page on Apple’s website, users who think that the storage is not user accessible and therefore will need additional storage in the future, are advised to create a high-capacity configuration in advance.
There is no chance to increase the memory of the device, or RAMs, as they are directly soldered.
