AMD, which managed to win the appreciation of users with its FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) scaling technology in the graphics card industry, announced FSR 2.0 at the event held today.
Will be supported by many graphics cards
Switching to the Temporal Upscaling algorithm and aiming to increase performance with minimal image quality loss, FSR 2.0 will offer even better images than the original resolution, according to AMD’s claims. The company shared the first test video of the technology, which does not need any artificial intelligence algorithm compared to Nvidia DLSS and Intel XeSS.
We can say that FSR 2.0 offers sharper and clearer images compared to native 4K and FSR 1.0 with different quality options in the shared video. However, the company, which does not include any FPS value in the video, will share more details about FSR 2.0 at the 2022 Game Developers Conference to be held on March 23.
What is Nvidia BaM technology?
The new technology, which does not have any hardware restrictions and will support many graphics cards by AMD, is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2022.
