The Audi A6 Avant e-tron concept model, although without a final design, reflects the design lines of future Audi models. The model with a friction coefficient of 0.24 is quite assertive in terms of handling and performance.

The model, which includes LED and OLED technologies, has more projectors than a small movie theater. The model, which appears with three high-resolution LED projectors on both sides, greets the driver and passengers with personalized messages when the doors are opened.

Porsche has announced that they are currently working with Audi on Premium Platform Electric (PPE) for next-generation EVs. The platform will be actively used in many models, including the upcoming electric Porsche Macan crossover.

Audi has equipped the floor of the Avant e-tron with a 100 kWh battery covering the wheelbase. This battery powers the concept’s 470 hp (350 kW) front and rear motor combination for 435 miles (700 km) of road travel range. Beyond that, the 800 V PPE architecture supports up to 270 kW charging speed. According to Audi’s estimates, it will be able to add 186 miles (300 km) of range to the Avant’s battery in about 10 minutes.
