It looks like you won’t need the Galaxy S22 to use some of Samsung’s new software features. Samsung says it will bring One UI 4.1 to most of its Galaxy phones and tablets in recent years, including more advanced camera features. It is possible that many features will be introduced to the Galaxy ecosystem, from the Expert RAW editing application to advanced object removal and simpler photo sharing.
One UI 4.1 update will first come to Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3. However, it will also be offered to the Galaxy S21, S20 and S10 families, the Galaxy Note series (from Note 10+), some Galaxy A phones, and all previous foldable phones. Galaxy Tab S7 FE and some Tab S models are also among the devices that will receive the new update.
Samsung did not give a specific timeframe for the new update, but it can be predicted that it will vary by country and device.
