As you know, Microsoft bought Bethesda last year. However, prior to this acquisition, Bethesda and Sony had a special deal for two different games. The first of these games, Deathloop, made its debut last year and contrary to expectations, it was a very successful game. The other game of this deal is Ghostwire: Tokyo. It’s only a short time before he leaves. I had early access to the game last week and finished the game. However, due to the embargo, I will only tell you about my first experiences. Our detailed review video will come close to the game’s release. Therefore, I would like to reiterate that I will only talk about the first two parts of the game here.

Ghostwire: Tokyo has been a game that has intrigued me since the day it was announced. Especially the action mechanics and the atmosphere were the two details that caught my attention the most. But unfortunately, the game actually arrived on a very unfortunate date. By the unfortunate date I mean 10 days after the release of Elden Ring. While I was spending time with Elden Ring like I was crazy, getting this game made me a little depressed because I didn’t want to leave Elden Ring. I entered Ghostwire: Tokyo tight. So, although it was a game I was waiting for, breaking away from Elden Ring caused a prejudice against Ghostwire: Tokyo. But Ghostwire: Tokyo really took away the sadness of leaving Elden Ring in its early hours. Let me state that I’m not really comparing the two games, and I’m not trying to say that one is better, I’m just talking about my personal enjoyment.

We got along in a short time

As I said, although I entered the game with boredom at the beginning, this boredom was gone when the game introduced me to the action mechanics and I started playing the game for a short time. we reconciled. As you can see in the trailers of the game, our main character is a character with magical abilities. I won’t go into details about how he gained these powers and for the sake of not spoiling the beginning of the game, but briefly, it is a game where the population of Tokyo has disappeared and we collect lost souls with our forces and fight with interesting enemies.

Enemies

Even from the trailers, you can easily see that the enemies of the game are quite interesting. These enemies are supernatural beings mentioned in Japanese folk tales. In the game, many different supernatural beings are waiting for you, such as Shiromuku, the young bride who wears her traditional white kimono but cannot marry her loved one and suffers because of it, and the mischievous Amewarashi, who looks like a child wearing a raincoat and is saddened by her separation from her family. For the enemies, as of the first part of the game, I can say the following: The enemy designs are very good, but variety is important. This can get seriously boring if the game is going to revolve around a few enemies and not diversify. Due to the embargo, my main comment on this issue will be in our review video.

The Action Part is Very Enjoyable

The action part of the game is really enjoyable. Especially when you start to develop your character and get new powers, the game really offers an interesting and enjoyable experience in the action part. Especially when you play with the PS5 controller, I can say that the features of the controller are used to the fullest and you will have a much more enjoyable experience. My only criticism for the action part will be this: The attack part is very fast paced and enjoyable, but when an attack comes from the opposite side, you can only open a shield to defend it and it also protects at a certain amount. For this reason, it would be much better to avoid it, as our character moves quite fast while using his spells. That’s why I wish there was an evasion feature added to the game.

Graphics

The visuals of the game are really beautiful. While playing in performance mode on PS5, both FPS and visual quality make you feel like a new generation game. When you put it in quality mode, the visuality goes to another level with ray tracing, but I can say that the FPS is crawling on the ground. Of course, this problem can be easily solved with a patch that will come with the release of the game. Note that I played two weeks ago.

Conclusion

To sum up, I can say that Ghostwire: Tokyo offers a good experience in every aspect at the beginning, but it needs to diversify in the later parts of the game. .
