YouTube, which introduced the transcription feature on the desktop version a while ago, also brings the feature to the Android app. The feature allows users to quickly navigate to the part of the video they are interested in through the text, with time-based subtitles.
Not widely available
With the increasing duration of videos on YouTube, it has become harder for users to find the sections they are interested in in a video. Along with this situation, the platform offered the ability for content creators to separate videos by titles. It also added time-based subtitles to the platform so that users can go to the exact section they want.
This subtitle feature, which has been available in the desktop version until now, is now available on certain Android devices. In general, it has a similar appearance to the desktop, but has a mobile-friendly user interface.
