Finally testing a new design for voice messages, WhatsApp has now started testing a useful feature that allows adjusting the quality of videos.
The Era of Choosing Video Quality in WhatsApp Begins
Under normal circumstances, sending videos via WhatsApp is not very satisfying. Especially when Android users send some videos to the other party, the resolution drops noticeably.
Testing a new feature in the face of this situation, WhatsApp will now allow the user to choose the image quality before sending the video. This will consist of “automatic”, “best quality” and “data saver” options as seen in the screenshot below.
This useful feature, currently being tested in beta, will enable the user to send videos according to their preference. For example, when you click on the “best quality” button, you will be able to send the video in its best form to the other party.
If your internet is low, you can turn on the “data saver” option. When you activate the “Automatic” option, the application will provide the best balance between image quality and internet consumption, depending on the connection type.
There is no exact information about when the new feature will be released. However, it is highly likely that this feature, which was offered in beta tests, will come to the stable version before it takes too long.
