China announced plans to reach 450 gigawatts (GW) of solar and wind power generation capacity in other desert regions, including the Gobi Desert, one of the world’s largest deserts . The new venture is said to be part of the country’s plans to generate over 1.2 terawatts of wind and solar power.
Renewable energy investment from China
Ranking first in renewable energy investment, China focuses on increasing its production capacity with its new projects.
