Samsung today confirmed that it was hacked by hackers last week, stealing the source code of Galaxy devices in addition to company data.

The hacking organization Lapsus$ claimed responsibility for the attack. The same group recently hacked NVIDIA. Hackers are reported to have stolen about 200GB of data from Samsung, including the source code used for encryption and biometric unlocking features on Galaxy devices.
Samsung: We do not expect any adverse impact on our business
The South Korean company has released the following statement, claiming that no personal data of employees or customers has been stolen. He said: “At this time we do not expect any impact on our business or our customers. We have taken steps to prevent similar incidents in the future and we will continue to provide uninterrupted service to our customers.”
On the other hand, it was revealed that hackers named Lapsus$ spread the sensitive data they stole from Samsung via torrent.
