It has released a new version of Chrome OS, which has a four-week release cycle. Google introduced several new features to its users with Chrome OS 99. The technology giant improves palm rejection performance on touchscreen devices with the new version of the operating system.
Chrome OS 99 on release
With Chrome OS 99, users will be able to drag a window to the top of the screen to create a new desktop while in Overview mode. The new version adds background scanning to Nearby Share, allowing the Chromebook to notify the user when someone nearby is sharing.
Chrome OS will allow turning off automatic updates
Tech giant , released the Files app as a System Web App (SWA) with Chrome OS 99. Google also offers a few security improvements, but asks users to send feedback if they find new issues, from the ‘Report a problem…’ option in the Chrome menu.
