Popular cryptocurrency analyst names Terra (LUNA), Cosmos (ATOM) and FTX Token (FTT) as the best altcoin picks for March.
Trader and analyst Jason Pizzino said that decentralized finance (DeFi) payments network Terra is looking strong after surging from $43 to nearly $100 in a little over a month.
“LUNA has broken out of many of these patterns and many resistance levels and is now consolidating at higher levels. So when I look specifically at the BTC chart (LUNA/BTC), LUNA is well and truly on my list. It has risen to new highs… While at all-time highs, that basically means there is no other general resistance.”
Cosmos is next. Pizzino says that while the BTC pair (ATOM/BTC) continues to gain strength, ATOM is also in an uptrend.
“ATOM/BTC is trying to close again above 50% [Fibonacci level]. It hit new highs, returned to 50% and now finds support in higher lows.”
The last altcoin on Pizzino’s radar is FTT, the token of the popular exchange FTX. Pizzino said that even after the sell-off on Feb. 24, FTT remained bullish after it managed to stay above $40.
“What I love about FTT right now is that it breaks the downtrend. So it bounced from these levels ($40) and is trying to consolidate above $44… So above $44 it looks good and above $50 it looks stronger again.”
