Geekbench will not work on select Samsung phones

It was recently discovered that Samsung is throttling the performance of more than 10,000 apps with the Game Optimization Service (GOS). Samsung also responded to the situation, which was highly criticized by users. Stating that they created such a system to optimize CPU and GPU performance during long gaming sessions and prevent devices from overheating, Samsung stated that they would fix this problem with an update soon. However, Geekbench still decided to block some Samsung phones.

Recent tests have shown that Samsung phones do not slow down benchmark applications such as Geekbench. Considering this situation as bencmark manipulation, Geekbench announced that it will remove the Galaxy S22, S21, S20 and S10 series from Geekbench Browser. Geekbench also stated that the Galaxy Note and A series did not activate from the situation, so they were not banned.
