According to the latest information, SHIB is now accepted by the Australian Energy Company via BitPay as a means of payment. In other words, customers of 1st Energy, one of Australia’s major energy firms, will be able to pay their bills with Shiba Inu and other cryptos via BitPay. Details of the subject are on Kriptokoin.com.

SHIB and other cryptos accepts

Payment service provider BitPay has announced that Australian energy company 1st Energy now accepts cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu, through BitPay. Besides Shiba Inu, BitPay supports leading cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Wrapped Bitcoin and five stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDP and USDC). Founded in 2014 and currently serving New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, 1st Energy has become Australia’s first energy retailer to accept cryptocurrencies through a partnership with BitPay. This means that customers of the electricity retailer can now pay their bills using any cryptocurrency offered through BitPay.

BitPay is the world’s largest Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment service provider, which started operations in 2011. In December 2021, BitPay announced the integration of Shiba Inu into its wallet app, thus allowing to store, buy, trade and spend SHIB.

Cryptocurrency adoption is growing

According to information received, SuperJeweler, a New York-based jewelery collection, recently announced that it accepts cryptocurrencies, including Shiba Inu, via BitPay. Adam Aron, CEO of movie giant AMC, took to Twitter in late February to announce that his company will add support for BitPay-powered online payments to its mobile app and website on March 19. Aron said, “BitPay will be available for AMC. Online payments will be available on our website by March 19th, and possibly on our mobile apps by April 16 a few days ago.”

The Shiba Inu team has signed a “state-of-the-art” partnership with the John Richmond fashion brand. The partnership will enable the launch of a fashion collection in the form of 10,000 NFTs. Physical versions of these tokens will be presented during Milan Fashion Week.
