Cryptocurrency traders are witnessing a series of major altcoin transfers as Bitcoin (BTC) hovers at $43,000.
New on-chain data from Santiment, tracked by crypto analyst Ali Martinez, shows that Cardano (ADA) whales purchased approximately 16,000,000 ADA in a 24-hour period. This represents the largest single-day increase in Cardano whale accumulation in months.
ADA was trading at $0.91 at the time of writing.
On-chain data outside of ADA shows that a new whale is accumulating Dogecoin (DOGE) rival Shiba Inu (SHIB). A single whale has amassed 442,637,867,858 SHIB worth $11.9 million, according to whale watcher WhaleStats. SHIB remains one of the most widely held crypto assets among large Ethereum (ETH) whales.
Just above SHBI is FTX Token (FTT). Whales also hold USDC, USDT, BEST, MATIC, OKB, LINK, SRM, MANA, CHSB, CRO and SAND.
