Meta, or Instagram, formerly under the umbrella of Facebook and one of the most popular social media platforms in the world with approximately 1.5 billion users, announced a new feature added to the platform with a statement it made today. Accordingly, it has been reported that the videos in the Instagram stream have Turkish subtitles feature.
In addition to Turkish language support for streaming videos, another innovation was made in Instagram. It has been reported that the search feature of the platform has also been renewed.
Automatic Turkish subtitle support for streaming videos
The social media platform has announced that as of today, Turkish subtitles feature in streaming videos. The feature, which allows adding Turkish subtitles to videos with an artificial intelligence-based system and was first tested in English last summer, is now available in more languages so that everyone can benefit from the application more.
In essence, the service offered for hearing impaired individuals seems to be a very useful feature for people who use Instagram with the sound turned off or who cannot hear the sound clearly in the video they watch due to the sound in the environment.
Searching on Instagram will now be easier
In addition to the automatic Turkish subtitles feature for streaming videos, Instagram also offers its new search feature design to users. Currently, it is stated that the search feature, which is an application that makes it easy to find other accounts or tags (hashtags), can now be searched for all kinds of keywords. Thus, all results related to any searched word will be displayed together on a search screen.
