Ukraine DAO in support of the Ukrainians auctioned the Ukrainian flag NFT for 2,174 ETH, corresponding to $6.534 million. The sale was a PartyBid auction, which allowed people to pool their funds and make purchases. In this way, donors were able to bid in bulk for partial ownership of NFT. The total donation amounted to 2258 ETH, corresponding to $6.79 million. Now the remaining ETH balance will be returned to the donors.
Donors will also receive LOVE tokens representing ownership of NFT in varying amounts depending on how much they contribute. Ukraine DAO is still collecting crypto donations.
