Huawei, which is at the forefront of the smartphone market, is among the few companies in tablet production. The tech giant was blacklisted by the US in 2019 due to its relationship with the Chinese state. The company continued to grow and develop despite being subject to some sanctions after being blacklisted.
The company, which released the MatePad 11 device with its own operating system HarmonyOS last year, now introduced its new and affordable product, the Huawei MatePad 2022, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). So what are the features of this product? Let’s take a look together.

Huawei MatePad 2022 is powered by the Kirin 710A processor, which goes through the 14nm manufacturing process. This processor, which we also saw in Huawei P Smart 2021, contains 4 x [email protected] GHz + 4 x [email protected] GHz cores. It meets its graphics needs with the Mali G51.

The device with a 10.4 inch screen can go up to 2000 x 1200 resolution and 470 nits brightness. The tablet, which has an IPS display panel with a 2K screen with Huawei’s FullView technology, supports an additional 16.7 million color gamut. The tablet, which has 4GB RAM and 64 or 128GB internal storage options, supports 512 MicroSD cards.
The device with 13 Megapixel rear and 8 Megapixel front camera is supported by a 7250mAh battery. The tablet weighs 450 grams in total with the battery and measures 154.96 x 245.2 x 7.35 mm. The tablet, which will come out of the box with Huawei’s own operating system, HarmonyOS, has the USB-C 2.0 Type-C connection port in its case. In addition to these, it has four speakers and three microphones.
