TCL announces two new foldable phone concepts

TCL, which has been working on foldable screens for a long time, has not yet released a product to the market, but it exhibits a different concept to visitors at technology fairs every year.

Two different foldable concepts from TCL

TCL’s first foldable concept has a similar structure to the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but it also has the ability to expand. After opening the phone, the left edge gets a little longer, thus creating a 9-inch tablet. The concept, which uses an advanced hinge system, is not yet ready for release.

The second concept is a mix of Galaxy Z Fold and Huawei Mate X models. It can be used in tent mode, both when folding from the outside to the inside and folding from the inside out. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to see the 360-degree concept, which will be a first in the smartphone market, on the market in the near future. The TCL Chicago foldable phone concept, which will compete with the Galaxy Z Flip, was recently canceled with a sudden decision.
