The first details about the Google Pixel 7 series, which is expected to be introduced this year, emerged. Last week, a software developer revealed the code names “Cheetah” and “Panther”, which are thought to belong to Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, in the codes of the Android 13 operating system.

The design of the flagship, which is expected to be powered by Tensor 2.0, the new version of Google’s own chipset Tensor, has been revealed. Known for its leaks about smartphones, xleaks7 (David Kowalski) shared 3D rendered images of the Pixel 7 series, allowing us to understand what the device will look like.

How will the Google Pixel 7 look?

Looking at the images, it seems that there will be no radical design changes in the Pixel 7 series. The Google Pixel 3 had a circular camera module on the back. The company, which changed this in Pixel 4 and placed the camera sensors in a square, continued this design for another generation, namely the Pixel 5 series.

In Pixel 6, on the other hand, the camera module is horizontal from corner to corner. positioned accordingly. According to the shared render images, Google will keep this design line on the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro models as well. At least the first claims show this. But the phone has a long time to be introduced and the final design could be very different from the leaks.

When we examine the images more closely, we can see that there will be minor differences. The camera bar on the back of the Pixel 6 remains on the Pixel 7 as well. However, the new flagship differs from its predecessor with bezels that protect the camera sensors.

According to the same source, Pixel 7 dimensions will be 155.6 x 73.1 x 8.7mm. For comparison, the Pixel 6’s dimensions were 158.6 x 74.8 x 8.9mm. This means that the smartphone, powered by the Tensor 2.0 chipset, will be somewhat small.
