Samsung, which sells different storage solutions as well as storage memory production, has announced small USB Type-C memories especially for smartphones without microSD slot.
Samsung USB Type-C memories
The Galaxy S22 flagship series does not come with microSD card support, which naturally makes OTG memories mandatory in cases where the storage is insufficient. Samsung’s solution for this is ready.
The company’s new USB Type-C memories are based on NAND flash modules and reach 400MB/s read speeds. It is stated that a 4GB file can be transferred in just 11 seconds.
Memory that uses the USB 3.1 standard will come in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities. It also offers backward compatibility with USB 2.0. It has not yet been announced when the new USB Type-C sticks will be released.
