The event is about the company’s 3nm, 4nm and 5nm casting lines. According to the investigation, these employees did not accurately reflect their productivity rates during the testing process. In other words, productivity rates that are normally low were shown as high.
As a result, chip productions of both the company and its customers, such as Qualcomm, began to yield less than expected efficiency. The scandal emerged in the research conducted by Samsung management.
