Samsung launches flagship smartphones with the world’s best mobile screens every year. This year, he did not break this tradition. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has the world’s best smartphone display panel, with a brightness of up to 1,750 nits. But some Galaxy S22 Ultra owners are facing a strange display issue.
Some users say that the Galaxy S22 Ultra displays a pixelated line that runs horizontally across the entire screen. Interestingly, in all such cases, the line running across the phone’s screen is more or less in the same position. Which makes me think it might be a software issue. Changing the display mode to Vivid seems to fix the issue.
As of now, this screen related issue only occurs on Galaxy S22 Ultra phones running Exynos 2200. None of the affected devices are running a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
Samsung may soon acknowledge the issue and release a software fix for the bug. However, it is certainly a shame that such a problem exists, especially considering the price of the phone…
