Illinois-based Quincy University has announced that it has started accepting cryptocurrency donations.
University donate in 32 cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), Tron (TRX), Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) will accept.
Quincy University official Matt Bergman stated that the crypto industry has grown like a mushroom, and that it has not slowed down in the near future.

In 2014, Puget Sound University became the first American university to accept donations in crypto. A school graduate gifted 14.5 Bitcoins to the educational institution through BitPay at that time. At that time, this amount was equivalent to 10,000 dollars.
