Ryan Reynolds, who has appeared in movies such as Deadpool, Green Lantern and Killer’s Bodyguard, talked about the future of the crypto industry in an interview with Bloomberg.
While the actor declined to comment on whether he owns a crypto asset, he said he hopes mainstream companies will bring more “light” to crypto.
The player also thinks that the crypto industry has emerged as a “giant, huge actor”, referring to the growth of the industry in 2021, when the digital asset market capitalization reached $3 trillion at the same time and Bitcoin reached almost $70,000.
According to on-chain data, such rapid growth of the crypto world has attracted millions of private and institutional investors. Despite this, Reynolds also believes that people are intimidated by the crypto industry.
Reynolds stated that as the crypto industry continues to grow, he thinks the number of companies joining this trend along with NFT and Metaverse will increase.
