Microsoft recently released an update that brought Android app support to the Windows 11 operating system. The company has now revealed the system requirements for this feature. The software giant recommends 16 GB of RAM for smooth operation of mobile applications.
Minimum system requirements for Android apps:
- RAM: 8GB (minimum) or 16GB (recommended)
- Storage type: SSD
- Processor: 8th generation Intel Core i3, AMD Ryzen 3000 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8c or higher
- Processor architecture: x64 or ARM64
- Virtual Machine Platform (Virtual Machine Platform): Enabled
Amazon Appstore integration provided
Amazon with the mid-February update Appstore has arrived in Windows 11. There are more than 1,000 popular apps and games on the store, which is currently only accessible to US users. It is not known when the new feature will be available in other countries.
