The world’s largest crypto-asset trading platform Binance has reportedly ceased operations in the country after the intervention of the Israeli regulator.
According to a report in the Israeli local press, Globes, the Israeli Capital Markets Authority asked Binance to clarify its activities in Israel. According to the report, the regulator is awaiting clarification on the type of services Binance provides to Israel and the licenses under which it operates. The news also included statements that the exchange stopped its activities in the country until the licensing issue was clarified.
As we mentioned earlier, Binance received warnings from many regulatory agencies last year. In line with the aforementioned warnings, the company carried out and continues to carry out licensing studies in the relevant regions.
