Famous billionaire Charlie Munger, vice president of Berkshire Hathaway, made harsh comments about cryptocurrencies yesterday. Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to Munger on Twitter.
Munger, in his post, compared cryptocurrencies to venereal disease and expressed his pride in not investing. He also said that cryptocurrencies should be banned.
Munger’s controversial comments about cryptocurrencies were not delayed by Elon Musk’s response. Musk replied to Munger as follows;
“I was at a luncheon with Munger in 2009 and he told the whole table how Tesla was going to fail. It made me extremely sad, but I told him that I agree with all these reasons, but that we’re going to die eventually and it’s worth a try.”
