Genesis announced that the electric GV60, which it unveiled four months ago, will go on sale in Europe this year and will begin accepting pre-orders soon.
The Genesis GV60 will be the brand’s sixth model in this market. The model in question will also appear as the first innate electric Genesis built on the E-GMP platform, just like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6.
European customers will have three different powertrain options for the Genesis GV60. The Premium, which is in the first step, is a rear-wheel drive version and gets 225 horsepower from a single electric motor. Sport, on the other hand, offers all-wheel drive with a combination of 214 horsepower at the front and 99 horsepower at the rear.
Sport Plus, which is at the top, gets a total of 428 horsepower from two 214 horsepower electric motors each, and unlike other versions, it also offers features such as Boost mode and Drift mode. . The 77.4 kWh battery, which is forgotten as a standard, offers a range of 451 km, 400 km and 368 km, respectively, in these versions.
350 kW ultra-fast charging support provides 10-80% filling in 18 minutes. Also, just like its cousins, it is possible to power electronic devices with the car’s battery.
Equipped with advanced driver assistance technologies, Genesis GV60 has standard features such as 12.3 inch multimedia and wireless smartphone charger. In the option list, there are equipment such as seat heating, panoramic glass roof, digital side mirrors and a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system.
Entering Europe last summer, Genesis’ lineup includes the G70 sedan, G70 shooting brake, GV70 SUV, G80 sedan and GV80 SUV. Two more electric models will follow the GV60, which will soon join the family, by the end of the year. Genesis will only release an electric model by 2025.
