The DeLorean DMC-12, which was used as a time machine in the movie Back to the Future, may appear in its new form. Judging by a promotional video shared on Twitter by DeLorean Motor Company (DMC), the company is working on an electric car.
Electric DeLorean is coming
DMC has attracted attention with a post it made recently. The company included the silhouette of a vehicle in a short 15-second video shared on Twitter. The striking detail here is that the gull wing doors of the DMC-12, which became popular with the movie Back to the Future, were also used in the vehicle in the video.
“The future was never promised. Re-imagine today.” In addition to the iconic door design, there is also information that the vehicle will be electric.
DMC wants people to sign up to receive future emails with details about the upcoming vehicle. The company will provide more information on the upcoming electric DeLorean later this year.
