CD Projekt RED’s game Cyberpunk 2077, which we have been watching for a long time, unfortunately did not make the release very successful. The game, the first version of which was not without errors, became playable today without encountering too many errors, thanks to the new updates released. But the game still had major flaws.
Cyberpunk 2077, which proved its uniqueness with its story and world, received the massive 1.5 update today for us to experience this uniqueness better. According to the patch notes released by CD Projekt RED, numerous bug fixes and gameplay improvements have been made in the game, and new content has been added to the game. What does the Cyberpunk 2077 1.5 update offer?
New content added to the game:
- Apartments in the city can now be rented. In order to rent, it will be mandatory to complete the ‘Playing for Time’ task first.
- 2 new weapons, Darra Polytechnic Umbra (assault rifle) and Budget Arms Guillotine (submachine gun)
- Four new weapon sights, Kang Tao Jue, Tsunami Gaki, Arasaka Kanetsugu and Handyman
- 15 new muzzles
- New poses in Photo mode
Updates in the city:
- AI, now better in close and range combat will take a position and react.
- Some AI characters will be able to enter a combat state if they are targeted.
- Time-lapse will now update the states of characters, devices, environment, and scenes.
- Improved crowd reactions, wayfinding, and disappearance.
- ‘Burn Out (tire burning)’ mode has been added to vehicles with Gas + Brake + Steering combination.
- Brake system has been updated.
- Motor and transmission simulation has been improved.
- Motorcycles have been improved.
- Improved traffic flow.
- Traffic will now try to avoid danger in panic situations.
Changes to gameplay:
- Economy improvements.
- The functions of wearables have been balanced and improved, the number of modifications has been adjusted.
- ‘Easy’ game difficulty has been made one click harder.
- Improvements and improvements have been made to combat, hacking, AI characters, features, player mechanics, vehicles, weapons, interface and cyber hardware.
- Various changes have been made to the quests.
- Crowd diversity has been increased in the open world, situational improvements have been made.
Changes to the graphics side:
- Improved the appearance and interaction of water.
- Weather system has been improved.
- The number of surrounding collectibles has been significantly reduced to allow players to focus on quests.
- “Walk” option has been added for PC players, which can be activated with the G key.
- Variable Rate Shading (VRS) feature has been activated.
- Game’s minimum system requirements have been increased to GTX 970 graphics card due to discontinuation of NVIDIA GeForce 700 series support.
- It has been announced that there will be no updates after June 15 for Windows 7 users.
- A 5-hour free trial version has been released for new generation consoles.
