Towards the end of 2021, inflation, which started to rise with the sudden rise in foreign exchange prices and increased prices, closed the year with 36.08%, according to TUIK data. On the other hand, official statements and forecasts for 2022 showed that inflation would increase this year and its impact would continue to be felt.
Today, a new application for consumers affected by inflation came from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance. With the support of the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry prepared a mobile application called “From Unity to Berekete”. The application will aim to increase consumer awareness against irregular price increases.
The cheapest and most convenient place to shop will be shown on the map
On the other hand, according to the information shared by Yeni Şafak, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance offers a mobile application to the consumer. It will also provide a map. With the ‘calculator’ feature in the application, the consumer will be able to see on the map the places where the total shopping can be done in the cheapest and most convenient way. The main goal of the application will be to reduce inflation with the cooperation of all segments from producer to consumer.
The application will also be an address to monitor whether the steps to be taken in the fight against inflation are reflected in the prices and to fight against exorbitant prices. The Inflation Fighting Team will closely monitor the companies. It will be prevented from first raising the price and then making a discount under the name of the campaign.
Minister Nabati had announced that the application would come into effect on March 1, in a statement he made recently.
