FromSoftware’s next RPG saga, Elden Ring, will be available to players at launch just a few weeks later (February 25). The game is coming to Windows, and fans can’t wait for the developer to release the official system requirements for Elden Ring. That patience was finally gone when the studio updated the Elden Ring Steam page with the minimum and recommended features.
However, an unexpected development followed. First, the requirements were unusually high for a FromSoftware game. For example, Sekiro, a fine game by almost any standard, is playable with a GTX 760 or Radeon HD 7950, whereas Elden Ring apparently required a GTX 1060.
Elden Ring system requirements have been announced?
Elden Ring system requirements were high in demand for the gamers. According to Steam’s annual hardware surveys, although the GTX 1060 is a popular card, we know that many gamers want to play Elden Ring with a worse graphics card.
The minimum system requirements shown on Elden Ring’s Steam page were removed in just a few hours and are listed as “TBD” (to be determined, to be announced). If you are still curious about Elden Ring system requirements, you can check the table below:
- Operating System: Windows 10 or 11
- Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
- RAM: 12GB
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB
- DirectX: DX12
- Storage: 60GB
It should be noted that we did not include the “recommended” requirements in the table above, and this is from FromSoftware. Elden Ring will be available in less than two weeks though, and FromSoftware will likely have updated all requirements by then.
