The Digital Euro Association (DEA), a Frankfurt-headquartered think tank that focuses on digital currencies such as private cryptocurrencies, CBDCs and stablecoins, has added Ripple (XRP) to its list of “supporting partners”. Ripple is expected to assist the DEA in piloting a CBDC.
According to the official announcement by DEA, the organization has formed a partnership with Ripple. Ripple’s expertise in digital money is the most important reason for this partnership.
Ripple has previously partnered with the South Asian country of Bhutan to develop a CBDC.
Jonas Gross, president of the Digital Euro Association, believes the collaboration will be instrumental in CBDC adoption.
