Nubia has stepped up in gaming phone competition this year with the Red Magic 7 series. Finally, Nubia Red Magic 7 Translucent Edition images have recently leaked on TENAA. However, the real surprise came from the fast charging feature that stands out among the Red Magic 7 features. Accordingly, the 165W fast charge that will come with the game phone will not appear as we expected. At least, that’s what Red Magic 7 features Nubia makes from its official account.

Nubia shared the Red Magic 7 series features on the official account of China’s social media platform Weibo. The fast charging adapter with the 165W logo misled many people before. In this sense, most people were sure that the Red Magic 7 series would come with 165W fast charging. However, the ambitious gaming phone Red Magic 7 will come with 135W fast charging support on the battery side. The Gallium Nitride adapter, produced for the game phone Red Magic 7 series, indeed has 165W fast charging support.

Although this detail is frustrating, it is still the fastest charging technology to hit the market. It is known that Xiaomi has 200W fast charging trials in this sense. However, a phone with this speed has not yet been released to the market. On the other hand, the Redmi Magic 7 Pro model may come with 165W fast charging feature.
Red Magic 7 Translucent Edition, which appeared on TENAA, has the same features as the Red Magic 7 except for the transparent back panel.
Red Magic 7 and its features
Red Magic 7 series will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Produced with a 4 nm fabrication process, the chipset has one 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-X2, three 2.5 GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores. In the processor graphics unit, we come across with the Adreno 730.
In addition, both models will have 18 GB LPDDR5 RAM. Nubia used a 20,000 rpm active cooling fan on the phone to keep the temperature at a minimum in situations that require intense processing such as gaming.
The display features of the Red Magic 7 series also attract a lot of attention. Promising a smooth and quality gaming experience, the series features a 165 Hz refresh rate and a 6.8-inch OLED panel.
Red Magic 7’s RAM and storage options have also started to appear. The device, which appeared in Geekbench with 18 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, appeared in the FCC database with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage.
Nubia Red Magic 7 will come with 135W fast charging and will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery. For now, it is not clear how long this battery will charge. However, Nubia previously had a record of one hundred percent charge in 15 minutes in the Red Magic series. With this new fast charging technology, it is expected that this record will be reduced to 10 minutes.
