Twitter continues to test new features. The social media platform is testing the playback speed settings in many video and audio focused apps. Certain Android and web users will be able to experience any media on the platform at varying speeds.
Playback speed settings on Twitter
Twitter announced that it is testing media playback speeds similar to those on YouTube and Netflix. Testers with the feature will be able to select playback speeds ranging from 0.25x to 2x from the pop-up window by tapping the gear button in the upper right while playing the media.
Twitter allows users to examine a media more carefully with its new test feature. The platform will bring the playback speed settings to iOS soon and will decide whether to make it available to all users based on user feedback.
