It has been announced that the American rock music group Foo Fighters will give a concert in Metaverse on the day of the Super Bowl, which will be the championship game of the annual American football league, the National Football League.

Foo Fighters rock band announced that they will be holding a free metaverse concert in collaboration with Meta (formerly Facebook). The concert can be watched on Facebook Live.

The championship game of the National Football League, the American football league where the Super Bowl will be held, can be watched for free on the metaverse on February 15th.

During the concert, audiences will have access to a 180-degree virtual reality view of the show with Horizon Venues, a virtual stage created by Meta.

The band was formed by Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl. Grohl said in a statement on the subject;

“Foo Fighters love to be on the world’s biggest stages. He likes a lot of challenges, from the smallest clubs to making movies and mini-series. This time we will try a different experience. The show, which will be broadcast on Foo Fighters’ Facebook and Instagram account and the Horizon Venues app, will begin right after the Super Bowl game ends. Join us!”
