One of the days we wait for every year has finally arrived. South Korean giant Samsung, one of the leading names in the smartphone world, will introduce its new flagship phone series at the Samsung Unpacked event, which it will hold today. The event, where the series called Samsung Galaxy S22 will be introduced, will be a first in the world.
Samsung, which opened its iconic store on the metaverse platform Decentraland in the past weeks, will organize the world’s first major metaverse launch. Those who want to follow the Samsung Unpacked event, which will be held today at 20.30 CET, will be able to do so either by standard means or via Decentraland. So how to watch the Samsung Unpacked event?
How to watch Samsung Galaxy S22 promo on metaverse?
- Click this link to go to Decentraland island where the Samsung 837X store is located.
- Click on the ‘Play using your wallet’ option on the page that opens.
- Confirm the connection of your wallet and Decentraland in the MetaMask plugin that opens.
- You have now reached the island where the Samsung 837X store is located. You can walk around the store by going through the doors.
- If you are logging into Decentraland for the first time, you can access this island after creating your Avatar and completing the tutorial.
- Go to the ‘Connectivity Theater’ area at the event time.
To create a MetaMask wallet if you don’t have it:
- Install the MetaMask extension in your browser (Brave, Firefox, Edge or Chrome).
- Open the plugin and press ‘Get Started’ > ‘Create a Wallet’ > ‘Agree’.
- Create a password to use when accessing your wallet.
- Be sure to record the phrases given to you that will save your wallet.
- Your MetaMask wallet is now created.
