Sotheby’s will list 104 CryptoPunk NFTs at a New York City auction on February 23.
The NFT collection, which will be sold as a single lot by Sotheby’s, is expected to generate between 20 and 30 million dollars in revenue.
According to Sotheby’s, 104 CryptoPunks at auction were purchased in a single blockchain transaction by anonymous collector “0x650d” last August.
“Punk It!” A panel on the history of NFTs and CryptoPunks will also be held before the auction.
CryptoPunks is a collection of 10,000 NFTs released by Larva Labs in 2017 that includes pixelated portraits of punk rock-looking faces.
