As you know, Steam, the game platform most used by almost all PC gamers, conducts a survey every year and every month to learn about its users’ hardware and software. Of course, these surveys are not mandatory, but you can share your information if you wish.
In the information you share in these surveys, Steam includes the CPU, GPU, operating system, motherboard, storage areas, RAM and similar hardware/software information you use from you. Steam collects information and shares what equipment and software its users around the world are using, with a percentage account.
Windows 11 was preferred by more players compared to December
Windows 11 was preferred by 10% of users in the first Steam survey (December 2021), after its release. In the January Steam survey, the first survey of 2022, Windows 11 was preferred by 13% of the players.
A 3% increase in just 1 month, although it seems small, is a great success for Microsoft. Because the increase in Windows 11 from November 2021 to December 2021 was 1.87%. This means that the usage growth rate of Windows 11 has doubled.
To sum it up, we see a clear graphic that more and more gamers are switching to Microsoft’s latest operating system, Windows 11. What do you think about Windows 11? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments.
