Amazon continues to grow
In the last quarter of last year, Amazon grew 9 percent while generating $137 billion in revenue. Revenue from cloud services increased 40 percent to $17.8 billion. Advertising revenues were $9.7 billion.
Amazon, which has partnered with the electric vehicle company Rivian for $ 1.3 billion, has reached $ 12 billion in revenue. The company’s first quarter revenue expectation is between 112-117 billion dollars.
Despite such huge revenues, Amazon, which is not satisfied, increases the price of its Prime service. Monthly subscription will be $14.99 and annual subscription will be $139. February 18 for new members and March 25 for existing members to start the price increase.
